Health, Safety and Environment Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) professional to join our team as a HSE Business Partner. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and inclusive team, driving HSE leadership and best practice across our Australia and New Zealand operations.
Key Responsibilities- Drive HSE leadership and engagement across the business, ensuring a strong safety culture and compliance with legislative requirements.
- Develop and implement effective WHS and Environmental management systems, ensuring best practice and regulatory compliance.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on HSE matters, including risk management, incident investigation, and rehabilitation and return to work programs.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including employees, managers, and external partners, to promote HSE awareness and engagement.
- Contribute to the development of management capability and coach managers and supervisors on HSE best practices.
We are looking for a professional with a strong background in OH&S, WHS, and Environmental management, with a minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role. You will have a proven track record of driving HSE leadership and best practice, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
You will also have a strong understanding of federal and state legislation related to WHS and Environment, as well as experience in implementing and maintaining best practice WHS and Environmental programs.
