Strategic GP Liaison Officer

About the Role
As our Strategic GP Liaison Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting the growth and development of General Practice in Australia. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading organisation that sets educational and practice standards for GPs.
About You
- You will have excellent communication skills and be able to build strong relationships with GPs, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders.
- You will have current accreditation as a GP Supervisor and qualifications as a registered general practitioner.
- You will have a good understanding of the training practice environment and the Australian General Practice Training (AGPT) program.
Your Responsibilities
- You will collaborate with regional and local teams to advocate for the individual and collective needs of GP supervisors participating in the RACGP training programs.
- You will support supervisors within the training program providing guidance and direction as an experienced peer.
- You will liaise with and maintain ongoing relationships with the supervisor industry body, General Practice Supervisors Australia.
- You will work with management to inform quality improvements relevant to the practice environment.

Salary and Location
The estimated annual salary for this position is between $90,000 and $120,000, depending on experience and qualifications. The role is based in Melbourne, but may involve travel to other locations throughout Victoria and beyond.
