About the Position

We are seeking an Administrative Professional to support the activities of the Environment Institute at the University of Adelaide.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide administrative support to the Institute Manager and research teams, including coordination of meetings, events, and travel.
  2. Manage databases, records, and documentation, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  3. Develop and implement effective administrative systems and procedures, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
  4. Collaborate with colleagues to achieve research objectives, providing administrative support as needed.
  5. Assist with outreach communications, including managing websites, publications, and coordinating events.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in an administrative role, with excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to work collegially as part of a team and with a wide range of stakeholder groups.
  • Experience in providing financial support, including budgeting, accounting, and procurement.
  • Skills in marketing, social media, events, and webpage management.
Qualifications

Certificate III and extensive relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of experience and/or education/training.
