Job Opportunity: Workplace Safety Specialist
This role is accountable for engaging with and connecting with workers and employers across South Australia, ensuring that workplaces are safe, fair and productive.
About the Role:
The Workplace Safety Specialist will use their legislated powers in both a reactive and proactive setting to assist in ensuring that South Australia enjoys the highest standards of workplace and public safety and standards in all industries and sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining high levels of workplace compliance with regulations
- Fostering a culture of safety among workers and employers
- Investigating incidents and breaches of work health and safety laws
- Providing education and guidance on work health and safety responsibilities
