About the Role

This exciting opportunity is part of our Education business team, where you'll work closely with university customers in New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory. Your primary focus will be on designing and implementing strategies to drive digital transformation, leveraging your expertise in cloud platforms like Azure.

Responsibilities
  • Customer Insights:
    • Synthesize industry best practices, case studies, and deep education expertise to provide valuable insights to customers.
    • Address broader business challenges by integrating Microsoft technology.
  • Trusted Advisor:
    • Provide thought leadership on IT strategy, business planning, and technology landscapes.
    • Leverage your understanding of customers to set strategy, lead extended teams, and provide technical guidance.
  • Technology Strategy Formulation:
    • Advise customers on gaps in their situations that can be addressed with Microsoft solutions.
    • Drive action to bring strategic, long-term vision to fruition.
  • Technology Sales:
    • Create demand for Microsoft products and solutions based on industry best practices.
    • Develop plans to qualify opportunities for sales.
    • Lead technical teams to drive opportunities and engage key stakeholders.
  • Differentiated Value Proposition:
    • Act as a customer's Technology Mentor, advising on solutions and aligning Microsoft capabilities with customer needs.
    • Lead customer business transformations through digital technologies, ensuring business outcomes and value creation.
  • Account Planning:
    • Orchestrate internal teams and partner ecosystems for demand generation.
    • Bridge technology resources with customers proactively.
  • Educational Thought Leadership:
    • Motivate and inspire technical resources towards customer business transformations.
    • Deliver regular industry/technology engagements to drive execution and focus on competitive advantage.
