Job Overview

The Senior Water Resources Engineer will provide technical consulting and project management services to deliver innovative solutions across a diverse portfolio of projects worldwide. This includes advising clients as a subject matter expert on water resources projects, supporting business development activities with existing and new clients to align with the company's strategic direction, conducting risk assessments and providing feasible solutions, assessing water infrastructure from planning to design and operation, and applying technical fundamentals in flood modelling, water balance modelling, and erosion control.

Key responsibilities include working on various projects such as surface water impact assessments, watercourse diversion design, monitoring, and rehabilitation, and developing water management plans. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 6+ years' experience in water resources engineering within a consultancy environment and is eligible for registration with relevant professional bodies. Relevant tertiary qualifications and strong interpersonal skills are also highly valued.
