We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Water Resources Engineer to join our team in Brisbane.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have experience in water resource engineering projects, including hydrological assessments, flood impact assessments, and water balance modeling.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake or supervise hydrological assessments, including stormwater design and assessment for infrastructure
  • Carry out flood impact assessments and water balance modeling
  • Mine water management and management of surface and subsurface water resources
Requirements

A degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering and at least 12 years' experience, with RPEQ and CPEng qualifications. Strong skills in TUFLOW and RORB modeling are also required, as well as experience with related software such as MIKEFLOOD, FLIKE, HEC-RAS, URBS, and XP-RAFTS.

Other desirable skills include waterway design, dam safety and spillway assessments, water-sensitive urban design, stormwater quality assessments, sediment transport analysis, groundwater modeling/hydrogeology, geomorphology, water supply, effluent treatment, and flood warning systems.
