This role offers a pivotal opportunity to shape the foundation's impact investing strategy. The successful candidate will collaborate with the Head of Impact Investing to identify, analyze and manage investment opportunities, emphasizing due diligence and strategic execution.
Main Responsibilities:- Support the Head of Impact Investing in identifying and executing strategic opportunities within the impact investing landscape.
- Originate high-quality impact investment opportunities as part of the Impact Investing Team.
- Lead impact investment due diligence, structuring and funding recommendations.
- Collaborate with the Foundation's Legal and Finance teams and third-party legal firms to finalize and execute investment agreements.
- Maintain a portfolio of the foundation's impact investments through relationship management.
- Drive impact investing capability building with the foundation's staff.
- Leverage relationships with other investors to capitalize on investment opportunities.
- Represent the foundation externally by engaging in market activities and promoting its impact investing practice.
- Oversee projects, including managing external consultants and the Impact Investment Associate.
- Relevant undergraduate qualification and 6-8 years of professional experience in impact investing or related fields.
- Strong experience in financial analysis, modeling, and business plan assessment.
- Able to generate insights from complex datasets and present them clearly.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Organized, methodical and able to manage competing priorities effectively.
- Demonstrated judgment, attention to detail, and quality output.
The role involves collaboration with various stakeholders, fostering innovation and driving progress.
