About this Role

At the Paul Ramsay Foundation, we are looking for an Impact Investing Manager to be a significant force in shaping our approach to impact investing. This role is pivotal in aligning financial performance with social impact, contributing to our strategic objectives. As an Impact Investing Manager, you will work directly with the Head of Impact Investing and play a crucial role in identifying, analyzing, and managing investment opportunities, with a strong emphasis on due diligence and strategic execution. The role promises an exciting dynamic environment where your skills in financial and analytical areas will significantly contribute to reshaping investment strategies focused on social good. Our vision for this role is to continue building a well-diversified portfolio that impacts systemic change through financial means.

Responsibilities

- Support the Head of Impact Investing in identifying and executing strategic opportunities for PRF within the impact investing landscape.
- Work as part of the Impact Investing Team to originate high-quality impact investment opportunities.
- Create and lead impact investment due diligence, structuring, and funding recommendations.
- Work with the Foundation's Legal and Finance teams, and third-party legal firms to finalize and execute investment agreements.
- Relationship manage and maintain a portfolio of PRF's impact investments.
- Drive impact investing capability building with PRF staff.
- Build relationships with other investors to leverage capital into our investments.
- Support PRF impact investing practice by engaging in market activities and representing the Foundation externally.
- Lead and oversee projects, including managing external consultants and the Impact Investment Associate.

Requirements

- Relevant undergraduate qualification with 6–8 years of professional experience, including impact investing or related fields.
- Strong experience in financial analysis, modeling, and business plan assessment.
- Proven ability to generate insights from complex datasets and present them clearly.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Organized, methodical, and able to manage competing priorities effectively.
- Demonstrated judgment, attention to detail, and quality output.
