Project Director Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Project Director to lead multiple renewable energy and electrical infrastructure projects from scoping and development to commissioning and final handover.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HV/Renewable Energy and proven experience in project management, with excellent written and verbal communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and knowledge of relevant regulations and standards across the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple renewable energy/electrical infrastructure projects simultaneously
  • Lead the development project plans, timelines, and project budgeting
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation plans to ensure successful delivery
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety requirements
  • Lead project engineers and effectively coordinate activities across projects
  • Communicate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders
  • Conduct technical reviews and provide recommendations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering
  • 5+ years of proven experience
  • Project Management Diploma/Qualification preferred (not required)
  • Proven industry experience in project management of HV/Renewable Energy projects
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of relevant regulations and standards across the energy sector
