Energy and Infrastructure Legal Expert

The role of Senior Lawyer - Energy and Infrastructure is a dynamic opportunity for an experienced lawyer to provide strategic legal advice on complex energy and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts including EPC contracts, supply and install contracts, balance of plant contracts, PPAs/offtake agreements, connection agreements, and O&M agreements.
- Advise on land acquisitions, planning approvals, general commercial matters including NDAs, consultancy agreements, services agreements, and disputes.
- Manage external counsel and support the development of precedent contracts.
- Provide regulatory advice on FIRB, Australian Financial Services Licences and Critical Infrastructure.
- Contribute to business initiatives including process improvements and training programs.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced lawyer to work closely with the General Counsel and other members of the legal team to achieve business objectives.
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of energy or infrastructure transactions in Australia, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to influence outcomes.
A successful candidate will have a proven track record of providing high-quality legal advice and assistance in fast-paced environments. They will also possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to thrive in dynamic and evolving environments.
