About the Position
We are seeking experienced Senior Civil Engineers to fill key roles within our Water Division and contribute to successful water infrastructure projects based in Brisbane, AU.
This position plays a pivotal role amongst a diverse group of highly skilled professionals that design with community needs in mind to deliver program and project excellence for water clients across metropolitan, regional, and remote contexts.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare conceptual, preliminary, and final designs and participate in project requirement meetings.
- Engage in the development of designs through sketches, electronic models, diagrams, and other visual formats. Prepare and revise documentation in various civil phases including site plans, utility plan/profiles, grading plans, cross sections, diagrams, submittal reviews, and response to information requests as required.
- Develop and manage project scope including cost estimates, budgeting, staffing, and scheduling.
- Prepare portions of engineering project proposals, change orders, client contact, and communication pertaining to specific projects.
- Coordinate technical activities and designs with personnel in other disciplines and departments, serving as a liaison between senior engineers and the design team.
- Prepare civil engineering feasibility studies by analyzing engineering design, conducting environmental impact assessments, and assembling data.
- Verify adherence to construction specifications during each phase of a project. Monitor project progress, inspect construction sites, and verify calculations and placements.
Manage and assist in civil engineering, design management, and project management from planning, feasibility/concept design, detailed design, and construction support of water and wastewater infrastructure as lead or member of a larger team.
