Senior Water Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Water Infrastructure Specialist to join our team of professionals who design and deliver innovative water solutions for urban and regional Australia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in water engineering, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead and mentor junior engineers.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a range of challenging projects that will make a real difference in our communities. As a Senior Water Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and developing water infrastructure, including pipelines, hydraulic structures, pump stations, and water facilities.

You will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet their expectations. This will involve building strong relationships with our clients, understanding their business objectives, and identifying opportunities to add value.

  • Developing and implementing water engineering solutions that meet our clients' needs and exceed their expectations;
  • Leading and mentoring junior engineers to develop their skills and knowledge;
  • Working collaboratively with other disciplines to bring together the best technical expertise from across the business;
  • Staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in water engineering.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field;
  • Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or working towards CPEng status;
  • Strong technical skills in water engineering, including experience with design software such as AutoCAD and MicroStation;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues;
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of autonomy and initiative.
