We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Disability Support Worker. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centred supports to individuals with disabilities, helping them achieve their personal goals and aspirations.">
  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal care, feeding, shower and toileting, medication, household tasks, etc.">
  • Prepare meals appropriate for client physical needs and dietary requirements.">
  • Support clients to participate in community, social and recreation activities.">
  • Mentor clients to develop skills in daily living and community participation according to individual plan and goals.">
  • Build capacity for clients needing high care.">

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Good understanding of NDIS principles and values.">
  • Knowledge of first aid, CPR and medication administration.">
  • Ability to support clients with a variety of disabilities.">
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.">
