Join Our Team
We're seeking a Senior Associate Civil Engineer to join our team in Cairns. As a key leader in driving growth for our business in North Queensland, you will support the broader Northern Australia Civil Infrastructure Team by providing civil engineering design and project management input, mentoring less experienced staff, preparing tender bids, and marketing to external and internal clients.
Responsibilities
Some of the role responsibilities include:
- Undertake the role of Project Manager, Design Manager, or Project Director depending on the nature of the project;
- Lead roles on civil infrastructure pursuits and projects leading to the ongoing growth of Jacobs' Northern Australia business;
- Identify and develop pursuits and secure projects for the local and wider team.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory requirement);
- National Professional Engineer Registration (mandatory requirement);
- Registered Professional Engineer Queensland (mandatory requirement);
- Good interpersonal skills who develops others and has the ability to build strong client relationships;
- Understanding of industry standards and best practices;
- Construction Safety Training (White Card) and current driver's license.
What We Offer
Jacobs offers a competitive salary range of $110,000 - $140,000 per annum, based on experience. In addition to a great salary, we offer a range of benefits including flexible working arrangements, professional development opportunities, and a comprehensive employee benefits program.
