Mental Health Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Professional to join our team at Central Australian Aboriginal Congress. As a Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychological assessment and therapeutic services to clients presenting with a range of mental health issues.
Key Responsibilities- Provide psychological assessment and therapeutic services to clients, including those experiencing domestic violence, alcohol and substance misuse, and trauma.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each client.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
- Provide professional clinical supervision to other therapeutic staff, including those completing supervised practice.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of mental health programs and services within the Congress Social and Emotional Wellbeing (SEWB) Service.
- Postgraduate qualification in Psychology or a related field.
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist.
- Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and individuals.
- Strong clinical skills and experience in providing psychological assessment and therapeutic services.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and provide professional clinical supervision.
