Mental Health Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Mental Health Professional to join our team at Central Australian Aboriginal Congress Aboriginal Corporation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing psychological assessment and therapeutic services to clients presenting with a range of mental health issues, including domestic violence, alcohol and substance misuse, and trauma.
This is a full-time, continuous contract position, and the successful candidate will be required to work in a remote setting, with potential for regular travel to provide services to clients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide psychological assessment and therapeutic services to clients, including individual and group sessions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the needs of clients
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to clients
- Provide professional clinical supervision to other therapeutic staff
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the delivery of mental health services
- Postgraduate qualification in psychology or a related field
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Experience working in a mental health setting, preferably in a remote or Indigenous community
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
