About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pyschologist or Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Central Australian Aboriginal Congress Aboriginal Corporation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing psychological assessment and therapeutic services to clients presenting with a range of mental health issues, including domestic violence, alcohol and substance misuse, and trauma.

As a member of our Social and Emotional Wellbeing (SEWB) Service, you will have access to a network of peer support and clinical supervision, as well as the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide psychological assessment and therapeutic services to clients
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to address client needs
  • Collaborate with other health professionals to provide comprehensive care
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of SEWB Service policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Postgraduate qualification in Psychology or a related field
  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
