About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Professional to join our team at Central Australian Aboriginal Congress Aboriginal Corporation. As a Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychological assessment and therapeutic services to clients presenting with a range of mental health issues.

The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to delivering culturally sensitive and effective care to our clients, and will be able to work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide psychological assessment and therapeutic services to clients with mental health issues
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the needs of clients
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
  • Provide professional clinical supervision to other therapeutic staff
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery
Requirements
  • Postgraduate qualification in Psychology or Clinical Psychology
  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
