Renewable Energy Project Manager Opportunity

Drive projects from mid-stage development to financial investment decision, including planning, environmental assessment, resource evaluation, grid connection, and design and procurement activities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement detailed delivery strategies, budgets, and risk matrices to navigate project delivery.
  • Manage primary and secondary consents, ensuring project approvals reflect optimal outcomes in design and flexibility.
  • Manage landholder relationships and local community engagement.
  • Contract with and manage external consultants as required for planning, grid connection studies, and other key development disciplines.
  • Build a deep understanding of the Australian renewable energy landscape.

About You

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual with experience in wind farm development or related fields such as wind engineering, statutory planning, and environmental planning.

  • Relevant academic qualifications.
  • Hands-on experience in wind project delivery, including securing planning and environmental approvals and managing relationships with key project stakeholders.
  • Experience managing budgets, timelines, risk assessments, and multiple stakeholders.
  • Understanding of and experience in the Australian energy market.
  • Excellent written and verbal presentation skills.
  • Strong drive and ambition to lead renewables growth and contribute to the Australian energy transition.
