Job Title: Senior Renewable Energy Specialist

A senior renewable energy specialist is required to lead the commissioning of various renewable projects through to full output operation. This involves working closely with transmission and distribution system operators across the National Electricity Market.

  • Commission renewable energy projects from concept to delivery, ensuring seamless integration into the electricity market.
  • Provide expert technical advice on performance standard assessment, power system stability, and registration processes.
  • Develop and implement strategies for integrating large-scale renewable energy projects into the Australian electricity market.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to drive innovation and improve the efficiency of renewable energy systems.
  • Conduct R2 model validation and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Requirements:
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in commissioning renewable energy projects, including transmission and distribution networks.
  • Proven ability to deliver projects effectively, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and quality outcomes.
  • Strong communication and project management skills.
