Metta Energy is seeking a skilled and motivated Electrician to join our growing team. This role will be dynamic and diverse, covering a broad range of renewable energy projects – from Residential to large complex solar and battery storage systems.
You will play a key role in the delivery of high-quality projects, working across electrical, mechanical, civil, and renewable energy installations. The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out electrical installation, testing, and commissioning of renewable energy and other electrical projects.
- Work across small, medium, and large-scale solar PV, battery storage, and microgrid systems.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Ensure all works comply with OHS, quality, and environmental standards.
- Support site teams and subcontractors to deliver projects safely and on time.
- Diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to project reporting.
- Work away from home on regional projects.
- A-Grade Electrical Licence (required).
- Accreditation – Solar & Battery Design and Install (required).
- Proven experience in commercial and industrial electrical projects.
- Proficient computer skills (MS Office, digital tools, and project platforms).
- Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and compliance requirements.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and project requirements.
- Current driver's licence.
