This position involves contributing to a cutting-edge project focused on accelerating ternary neural networks using field-programmable gate array (FPGA) devices.
About the Opportunity- Deliver high-impact outcomes in a research project and ensure that milestones are met
- Collaborate with colleagues and postgraduates within the project
- Prepare materials for publications in prestigious journals and conferences
- Partner with industry leaders in the field of FPGA-based machine learning accelerators
- Strong experience in FPGA design, machine learning or a related field is essential
- Experience in the development of machine learning models using Python and PyTorch is required
- Expertise in two or more of the following technical areas: FPGA-based accelerator design, high-level synthesis for FPGA design, quantisation of deep neural networks, large language models (LLMs)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are necessary
