About Our Project

We are seeking a highly skilled researcher to contribute to an exciting project focused on accelerating ternary neural networks using FPGA devices. This research will involve the design, development and optimization of FPGA-based machine learning accelerators.

  • Deliver high-quality outcomes in a research project and ensure that milestones are met
  • Collaborate with colleagues and postgraduates within the project
  • Prepare materials for publications in top-tier journals and conferences
  • Cultivate relationships with industry partners and leaders in the field of FPGA-based machine learning accelerators
About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong experience in FPGA design, machine learning or a related field
  • A PhD (or near completion) in FPGA design, machine learning or a related field
  • Expertise in developing machine learning models using Python and PyTorch
  • Knowledge of two or more of the following technical areas: design of FPGA-based accelerators, high-level synthesis for FPGA design, quantisation of deep neural networks, large language models
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Key Responsibilities

As a researcher in this project, you will be responsible for designing, developing and optimizing FPGA-based machine learning accelerators. Your work will involve collaborating with our team to deliver high-quality outcomes and ensuring that milestones are met.
