Unlocking the Power of FPGA-based AI Hardware Acceleration

As a research associate or postdoctoral research associate, you will contribute to an exciting project that focuses on accelerating ternary neural networks using FPGA devices. This opportunity is part of a team of researchers pushing the boundaries of computing, with access to state-of-the-art equipment and facilities.

The key responsibilities include delivering outcomes in a research project, working collaboratively with colleagues and postgraduates, preparing materials for publications, and collaborating with industry partners.

  • Deliver high-quality results in a research project and ensure timely completion of milestones.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues and postgraduates within the project.
  • Prepare and submit publications in top-tier journals and conferences.
  • Engage with industry partners and leaders in the field of FPGA-based machine learning accelerators.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have strong experience in FPGA design, machine learning, or a related field, preferably with expertise in two or more technical areas: design of FPGA-based accelerators, high-level synthesis for FPGA design (HLS), quantisation of deep neural networks, and large language models (LLMs).
