About Our Economic and Community Benefits Initiative

You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic programs to enhance economic opportunities in regional areas. This involves coordinating partnerships with government agencies to secure funding, developing an Indigenous employment strategy, and fostering business engagement and procurement.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the implementation of education programs and training initiatives
  • Providing expert advice and preparing comprehensive reports and briefings
  • Coordinating with government agencies and stakeholders to achieve program objectives

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A tertiary qualification in business, economics, or a related field
  • A high level of cultural competency, including a demonstrated understanding of issues affecting Indigenous Australians
  • Personal drive and ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • The ability to undertake regular travel between Adelaide and regional areas

Eligibility Criteria

This position requires:

  • A Baseline security clearance or ability to obtain one
  • Prior experience working within the government framework
  • A valid Australian driver's license
