Business Development Manager

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to support growth through business development and relationship management, contributing to growth and retention in the region.

The ideal candidate has experience in a brokerage or fintech setting, with the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment. The role plays a key part in company growth and long-term success by selling FX services to clients, analysing foreign exchange trade lifecycle, and maintaining thorough knowledge of foreign exchange products and services.

About the Role:
  • Understand derivatives financial markets, Eightcap offerings, and competitor offerings to sell FX services to prospective clients.
  • Apply knowledge in Forex trading to analyse processing methods and foreign exchange trade lifecycle of clients.
  • Analyse position of foreign exchange trading in investment process of clients and prospects to determine suitability for Eightcap services.
  • Maintain thorough and up-to-date knowledge of foreign exchange products and services by initiating frequent contact with other financial institutions and partners.
  • Manage complete sales cycle process from initiation through compliance to onboarded trading client.
  • Establish rapport and trust with clients by effectively presenting technical derivative trading solutions.
  • Actively seek out new sources of leads and client referrals.
  • Provide ongoing assistance and support to clients, including technical support and operational support in relation to trading account and trading platform matters.
  • Communicate with existing and prospective clients on Eightcap product offerings and services, resolving any issues to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Monitor and achieve agreed KPIs.
  • Assist with and coordinate with other teams to create and implement new forex sales procedures and processes.
Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or related field; or at least 1 year of experience in financial services or sales role.
  • Passion for financial markets with foundational understanding of CFDs and margin trading.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to work in high-pressure, target-driven environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Team-oriented with ability to work effectively across multicultural teams.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software; confident in handling data and client records.
  • Strong sales acumen - be a problem solver and go-getter to deliver new business by increasing sales in trading technology.
  • Understanding of compliance and onboarding processes.
  • Able to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
