Key Position:

We are seeking a strategic leader with expertise in Western Australia's mining and explosives sectors to lead the mobilisation and growth of our operations across the region.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Establish and grow AECI operations in WA, including operational readiness for a new electronic detonator facility
  • Support feasibility and planning for a Powerboost plant, develop regional business development strategies
  • Build relationships with mining clients, regulators, and government bodies
  • Manage cross-functional teams, ensure new operations meet SHEQ standards, oversee project budgets, lead tenders and contract negotiations, and track key performance metrics

The ideal candidate will hold a tertiary qualification in Accounting, Business, Engineering or an MBA, with a minimum of 8 years' experience in commercial or business development roles. They will have proven success in stakeholder engagement, market expansion, and operations within explosives or chemical manufacturing.
