Job Title: Regional Operations Manager

About the Role:
The Regional Operations Manager will play a critical role in driving business success across the region by providing strategic leadership, operational expertise, and customer focus.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide support to the regional leadership team to ensure efficient operation and achievement of quality standards of care.
• Effectively lead a group of Practice Managers and Veterinary Directors who are accountable for the commercial performance of their clinics.
• Drive demand stimulation and retention through effective client attraction and retention strategies.
• Ensure each clinic has sufficient clinical team members to meet demand through execution of an effective value proposition for team members and successful recruitment and retention efforts.

Strategic Planning and Leadership Support:
• Interpret financial and statistical reports, data analysis, and provide strategic oversight to drive business growth and improvement.
• Develop and implement processes to review and improve clinic performance.
• Manage and promote innovation to facilitate business improvement.

Leadership and Development:
• Develop, motivate, and lead Practice Managers, Veterinary Directors, and Team Members to achieve exceptional results.
• Establish working relationships between Area Manager/s, Regional Clinical Directors, Clinics, and support office departments.
• Work with General Manager – GP on complex decision-making and preparation of business proposals.

Requirements:
• Passion for the Veterinary or Animal Welfare industry.
• Strong leadership profile, coaching, and negotiation skills.
• Highly organized and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Self-directed attitude and ability to work independently.
• High level of emotional intelligence and strong stakeholder liaison skills.
• Basic IT skills including databases and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization (written and oral).
• Adequate knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management.
• Delegates responsibilities effectively.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
