Venue Operations Manager

This is a leadership role that oversees the daily management of a lively, independently owned brewery pub in Melbourne.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for creating exceptional customer experiences, driving operational efficiency, and ensuring business performance.
Responsibilities:

Operational Management: Ensure seamless day-to-day operations, maintaining high service standards and customer satisfaction.

  • Lead and support front-of-house teams to deliver great hospitality experiences.
  • Monitor and manage budgets, providing regular financial updates and implementing strategies to improve profitability.

Event Management: Collaborate with marketing, brewers, and the kitchen team to plan and execute on-site and off-site activations.

  • Develop and implement event strategies to drive revenue growth and increase venue buzz.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure successful event delivery and high-impact activations.

Team Development: Foster a strong team culture, promoting high engagement and low turnover rates.

  • Conduct regular team meetings and reviews to discuss progress and plan for future improvements.
  • Champion continuous improvement through feedback, team development, and operational reviews.

  • Achieve or exceed revenue, profitability, and event targets.
  • Consistently maintain high service standards and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure successful delivery of high-impact events and activations.
