Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Refrigeration Specialist to join our facility in Truganina. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of our cooling installations and collaborating with refrigeration contractors.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Maintain cooling systems to ensure they remain up-to-date, efficient, and safe.
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Conduct inspections and maintenance activities, providing detailed reporting and supervision of refrigeration contracts and subcontracts.
  • Work closely with the Maintenance Manager to minimize downtime.
  • Ensure timely completion of various installations.
  • Assist in training new Maintenance Technicians.
  • Develop instructional materials and standard operating procedures.
  • Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track records and maintenance schedules.
  • Support facility management initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Air Conditioning and Refrigeration trade certificate.
  • Minimum 3 years of industrial work experience with mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to work in a cold store environment (-23 degrees Celsius).
  • Proficiency in computer skills; training on our Warehouse Management System (WMS) will be provided.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Physical fitness and ability to work at heights.
  • High motivation and enthusiasm.
  • Able to work Monday-Friday 7am-3:06pm.
