Job Overview:
We are seeking a FullTime Materials Coordinator to support our engineering and workshop teams.

Reporting to the Operations Manager you will assist in the receiving of inwards goods and will be a crucial element in our coordination of material as it comes through our facility. It includes but is not limited to incoming goods, stores management, packaging and dispatch of completed works.

**Responsibilities**:

- Loading/Unloading of trucks and signing for deliveries
- Receiving goods and checking contents against supplier documents and purchase orders
- Inspection of goods and material to ensure fit for fabrication
- Completing receiving documentation required for handover to accounts for payments
- Keeping stores, factory and yard organised and tidy
- Picking parts, piping and components for the fabrication of larger equipment and documenting part traceability on engineering drawings
- Packing completed works to make ready for dispatch (small parts into boxes/airbags, constructing and loading pallets and occasionally loading shipping containers)
- Assist manufacturing with other duties from time to time

Qualifications:

- Holds current drivers licence and can drive a manual (required)
- Holds a current forklift licence (required)
- Punctual, reliable and hardworking
- Ability to be able to lift large/heavy packages up to 20kg
- High Attention to detail
- IT Capability (experience with MS Office Products and stores or ERP systems)
- Excellent Communication skills ( both verbal and written)
- Proven history within a logistics/warehouse environment will be highly regarded
- A Team Player
- Prior history working with a computer-based inventory management system will be highly regarded.
