**Position Description**: TEAM LEADER - Production / Fitting

**Position Summary**
We are seeking a fulltime Team Leader for our fitting area, to oversee and develop our team of tradesman and apprentices.

The role is a dynamic one, joining a fast past team of committed engineers and tradesman, building complex and interesting systems that are helping change the world.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the role is as a working team leader, both carrying out fitting and assembly tasks, and overseeing a team of 6 to 8 tradesman and apprentices, who assemble and test the cryogenic pumps and control systems we build.

**Essential Functions**
- Overseeing the fitting team in a workshop environment
- Pump repairs
- Inspection and testing of cryogenic vessels and tankers
- Carrying out fitting tasks
- Developing and training apprenticeships
- Testing (pneumatic and hydrostatic pressure testing) and documenting equipment
- Assembly of flanged, screwed and swaged fittings and assemblies

**Position Type**:
Full-time with regular overtime

**Qualifications**:

- Fitting and Machining apprenticeship or Mechanics apprenticeship
- Some IT capability (simple APPS and Excel)
- Ability able to lift large/heavy packages up to 20 kg.
- High attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- A team player
- Strong leadership skills and proven track record
