Regional Growth Leader

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our regional growth efforts in the Northeast power sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive strategic growth across the region, increasing HDR's market share and revenue.
  • BUILD TRUSTED ADVISOR relationships with key utilities and power developers.
  • Understand client goals and align HDR's capabilities to meet their needs.
  • LEAD MAJOR PURSUITS AND CAMPAIGNS, developing winning strategies and guiding proposal efforts.
Collaboration and Leadership
  • Collaborate with market and operations leadership to define and execute regional strategic plans.
  • Mentor and train business development teams, fostering a culture of client focus and strategic thinking.
Talent Development
  • Ensure the right talent and expertise are matched to client needs and growth opportunities in collaboration with operational partners.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, sciences, business, marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in the power market, with a strong track record in client development and strategic leadership.
  • Proven success in leading major business development efforts and building long-term client relationships.
  • Deep understanding of the Northeast energy market.
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
  • Willingness to travel and engage with clients and teams across the region.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working within the Northeast U.S. power sector.
  • Familiarity with the way professional and construction services are solicited and contracted across the power market (transmission, distribution, generation, renewables, environmental, etc.).
