Join Our Energy Transformation Team
As a strategic leader in the power sector, you have the unique opportunity to drive energy transformation and spearhead client engagement, business development, and strategic growth across the dynamic and evolving Northeast Region energy landscape.
About the Role:
Spearhead Growth:
Drive market share and revenue growth across New England, NY, NJ, PA, OH, WV, VA, MD, DE.
Build Client Relationships:
Develop trusted advisor relationships with key utilities and power developers, understanding their goals and aligning HDR's capabilities to meet their needs.
Lead Business Development:
Lead major pursuits and campaigns, develop winning strategies, and guide proposal efforts that reflect deep client insight.
Mentor and Train:
Support the maturation of business development skills across teams, fostering a culture of client focus and strategic thinking. Ensure the right talent and expertise are matched to client needs and growth opportunities in collaboration with operational partners.
What You Bring:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, sciences, business, marketing, or related field.
Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in the power market, with a strong track record in client development and strategic leadership.
Proven success in leading major business development efforts and building long-term client relationships.
Deep understanding of the Northeast energy market.
Exceptional communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
Willingness to travel and engage with clients and teams across the region.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience working within the Northeast U.S. power sector.
Familiarity with the way professional and construction services are solicited and contracted across the power market (transmission, distribution, generation, renewables, environmental, etc.).
