Masters of Social Work Educator Position

As a lecturer for the Master of Social Work (Qualifying) program, you will be responsible for creating and delivering high-quality educational content while ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and delivering engaging face-to-face teaching sessions and online learning materials.
- Developing study guides, webinars, and assessment instructions for assigned subjects.
- Providing individualized support to students through various channels, including face-to-face, online, phone, or email.
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress and providing timely feedback.
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure consistency in curriculum design and delivery.
About You
To succeed in this role, you must possess a PhD-level qualification approved by the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) or a master's degree at level 9, along with at least five years of relevant teaching, research, or professional experience in social work or community services. Alternatively, you may hold a completed doctorate or PhD at level 10, accompanied by three years of relevant experience.
- Proven ability to develop and coordinate tertiary subject curricula and teaching materials.
- Experience in coordinating and administering successful subject deliveries.
- High professional and ethical conduct, resilience, and a collaborative approach to teaching and industry engagement.
- A strong understanding of social work theory and practice.
- Eligibility for AASW membership.
