Key Program Responsibilities

The successful candidate will lead the ongoing development, enhancement, and delivery of the Master of Social Work (Qualifying) program, ensuring compliance with the Higher Education Standards Framework.

Primary Duties include:

  • Developing and conducting face-to-face teaching and student engagement sessions, along with relevant learning materials
  • Providing individualized study assistance to students in various modes
  • Assessing student performance and identifying students at risk of non-completion
  • Maintaining subject sites on the Learning Management System

About You:

  • Hold an AASW-approved doctoral qualification or a Masters degree at level 9 and have at least 5 years of relevant experience in social work or community services
  • Demonstrate expertise in developing tertiary subject curricula and teaching materials, as well as coordinating and administering the successful delivery of tertiary subjects
  • possess a strong understanding of social work theory and practice, and be eligible for membership of the AASW
