Job Overview

In this role as a Drill Rig Technician, you will work collaboratively with a team to achieve optimal results while maintaining a strong focus on safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate advanced drilling equipment including Sandvik DP1500i, DI650i, and Epiroc D65.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to established drill patterns.
  • Perform regular pre-start checks and carry out basic maintenance tasks.
  • Adjust operating techniques to suit varying ground conditions.
  • Collaborate with supervisors to meet production targets and ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Adhere to strict safety procedures and contribute to a positive team culture.
Requirements
  • Possess a valid C Class Driver's Licence.
  • Hold a clean national police clearance certificate.
  • Meet the requirements for a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screen.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
Bonus Points
  • Hold an HR Licence.
  • Have completed a Cert III in Drilling Operations.
  • Possess a Dangerous Goods Security Card.
