Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced drilling mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of mechanical trade and a proven track record in diagnosing and troubleshooting complex issues.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining equipment, performing routine maintenance tasks, and identifying areas for improvement. They will also be required to work independently with minimal supervision and maintain accurate records of their work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues on Schramm drill rigs, Sandvik/UDR drill rigs, and other equipment.
  • Maintain essential records, including audits, faults, repairs, and services.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is in good working order.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Certificate III in Mechanical Trade (Fitting) or Cert III in Drilling Operations.
  • Minimum HR (open) class driver's license.
  • Full working rights in Australia (valid visas will be considered).
  • Exploration drilling experience with strong knowledge of boosters and auxiliary compressors.
  • HR (Open) Class Licence.
  • First Aid Training Certificate.
  • Working at Heights Ticket and Confined Space tickets.
