Role Overview

We're seeking an accomplished Financial Analyst to join our Business Intelligence unit. The successful candidate will develop insights into fund management, investment, and asset management businesses.

  • Consolidate asset performance data to drive key performance indicators for Octopus's funds.

  • Analyze various equity exposures in Octopus's asset portfolio using scenario and sensitivity analysis.

  • Ensure that financial models used in the business integrate with each other and provide actionable insights.

  • Onboard new assets into operating models post-acquisition, incorporating relevant investment model inputs.

  • Refresh economic, pricing, cost, and generation level inputs while ensuring best practices and proper version control.

  • Liaise with model auditors and address any audit questions or concerns.

  • Support ad-hoc requests from stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop insightful financial models to support key business decisions.

  • Maintain and operate existing financial models to ensure accuracy and reliability.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather input and feedback on financial models.

  • Communicate complex financial concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
