Job Title: Associate Financial Analyst

Role Description:

  • Develop detailed financial models to drive business decisions and strategy.
  • Consolidate asset performance and macro inputs to provide insights into past and forward estimates of performance for our funds.
  • Perform scenario and sensitivity analysis at a portfolio level to assess the impact of various equity exposures in our asset portfolio. Clearly articulate key messages and insights to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain and operate existing financial models, ensuring reliability, accuracy, and suitability for use.
  • Integrate new assets into operating asset models from their relevant investment models post-acquisition.
  • Refresh models with updates to economic, pricing, cost, and generation level inputs, ensuring rigor and best practice, along with proper version control in models used within the organization.
  • Collaborate with model auditors, address audit questions, and implement relevant changes to models.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Fluency in Microsoft Excel, VBA, and financial modelling best practices.
  • Previous experience in professional services modeling or formal training in modeling best practices.
  • Experience in real asset (infrastructure, real estate, renewable energy) model development and operations.
  • Accounting qualification or similar.
