Financial Analyst Position

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative financial solutions. Our mission is to accelerate the transition to renewable energy, and we are seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to join our team in Australia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating insights into fund management, investment, asset management, and development businesses. This will involve operating, maintaining, and further developing the suite of models that underpin these businesses.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Consolidation of asset performance and macro inputs to drive insights into past and forward estimates of performance for Octopus's funds.
  • Performing scenario and sensitivity analysis at a portfolio level to assess the impact of various equity exposures in Octopus's asset portfolio.
  • Maintaining and operating the various asset and fund level models that have been developed by the business.
  • Ensuring that the various financial models used in the business integrate with each other.

To succeed in this role, you will need experience in real asset model development and operations, as well as fluency in Microsoft Excel, VBA, and financial modelling best practices.
