We are seeking a talented and dynamic individual to join our team as a Customer Experience Ambassador. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences for our guests.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a luxury hotel in the heart of Melbourne's CBD. Our hotel offers a unique and dynamic work environment, with a focus on innovation and excellence. As a Customer Experience Ambassador, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of guests and colleagues, and to develop your skills and expertise in customer service and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve food and beverages to guests with a smile and a passion for excellence
  • Set tables according to event type and service standards
  • Answer questions about menu selections and provide recommendations
  • Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, wait times, re-cook orders, and product availability
  • Relay additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen
  • Record transactions in the MICROS system at the time of order
  • Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and beverage
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, etc., throughout the day
  • Complete opening & closing duties, including restocking items and turning off lights
  • Present physical and accurate checks to guests and process payments
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
  • Anticipate and address guests' service needs
  • Communicate with clear and professional language
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues
  • Support the team to reach common goals
  • Listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other team members

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be highly organized and able to multitask, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellence. A current Victorian RSA is essential for this role.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is estimated to be around $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including:
