Role Overview

The Commonwealth Bank of Australia is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Reporting Specialist to join its Group Statutory & Regulatory Reporting team. This role will be responsible for providing expert financial reporting support to the Group's senior stakeholders, with a focus on statutory external financial reporting and consolidation of the Group's general ledger.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have excellent commercial acumen and strong analytical skills, with experience working with large datasets and advanced Excel skills for financial modelling and analysis. Your ability to draw insights from data and communicate effectively with stakeholders will be essential in driving business outcomes and delivering value-add analysis to senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Focusing on the continuous improvement agenda of the Group Reporting team, maintaining accuracy, timeliness, and functionality of financial reports
  • Supporting and leading automation projects to transform statutory and regulatory reporting requirements
  • Providing advisory support on reporting process improvements and related projects
  • Assisting with half-year and year-end reporting deliverables, including the Annual Report, Profit Announcement, and Pillar 3 reporting

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary package of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience and qualifications. In addition, you will have opportunities for career growth and professional development within a dynamic and supportive team environment.

Location

This role is based in Sydney, NSW, with flexible working arrangements available.
