About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager to join our Group Investigations team at Westpac Group. As a Senior Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring that investigations are conducted in a consistent, safe, respectful, and considered manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead investigations and provide guidance to a team of investigation specialists
  • Approve investigation plans, corroborate interviews, review evidence, and final investigation reports
  • Regularly report on investigation progress, risks, and outcomes to Executive Managers GI, Head of GI, and senior stakeholders
  • Adhere to Group Investigation guidelines and operating procedures
  • Identify weaknesses in process and procedures within banking products and systems
  • Ensure all matters investigated are maintained and escalated within current regulatory reporting standards
  • Contribute actively to strategic planning processes and help ensure a shared understanding of strategic direction and corporate priorities
  • Model and promote workplace diversity principles and foster a safe and healthy working environment
  • Provide ad-hoc coverage of the Executive Manager role
