The RMIT University is seeking a highly skilled and experienced WIL Officer to provide academic and student support for Work Integrated Learning and Professional Health Placements in the STEM College.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide academic and student support for Work Integrated Learning and Professional Health Placements in the STEM College.
  • Carry out regular monitoring of WIL programs and respond to student queries.
  • Communicate with relevant professionals in industry and liaison with Academic staff.
  • Maintain relevant University databases.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication, relationship-building and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work collegiately with academic and professional staff, students, and external clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, use initiative and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines in a demanding high-volume environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
  • Demonstrated computer literacy skills and the ability to use multiple systems simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow established procedures with limited supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply complex rules and handle sensitive matters.
