About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated Student Placements Officer to join our team. Reporting to the Team Leader of Student Engagement and Experience, you will deliver impactful student engagement activities and provide essential support for our Work Integrated Learning (WIL) program.
In this role, you will work closely with academic staff, students, and industry partners to enhance the quality of WIL opportunities. You will implement administrative, systems, data, and communication activities to boost student participation and success. Additionally, you will act as a subject matter expert for WIL processes and collaborate across the university to facilitate access to WIL opportunities.
About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:
- Demonstrated, relevant experience in the provision of high quality administrative and support services within a demanding customer focused environment
- Demonstrated high level interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills including the ability to effectively deal with clients in a highly confidential and professional manner
- Demonstrated advanced skills in MS Office and experience in use of variety of data and information management systems. Willingness to learn new systems and assist in training other members of team
- Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines without compromising close attention to detail and accuracy

Qualifications
A degree with subsequent relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
