Job Summary

Business Analysis Specialist

This critical role plays a pivotal part in safeguarding our assets and ensuring continuous improvement of our cyber posture in the face of evolving threats.

  • Support delivery of cyber projects, ensuring they meet standards for design, build, test, deployment, and operations.
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather cyber requirements and support business activities.
  • Plan and facilitate workshops and meetings to translate business needs into functional and technical requirements.
  • Contribute to development and implementation of cybersecurity solutions, tools, and processes.
  • Assist in risk assessments, security audits, and formulation of security strategies.
  • Collaborate with IT teams, including technical architecture, infrastructure, operations management, and subject matter experts.

Requirements

Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree level qualification and program management or methodology certification is highly desirable.
  • Strong background in business analysis within cyber security. Extensive demonstrable track record of successfully contributing to the delivery of complex, large scale Cyber / IT projects.
  • Proven direct experience with cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS) and security tools (SIEM, Endpoint Detection Response, firewalls, encryption, access control systems). As well as exposure to Agile or Waterfall project methodologies and SDLC processes.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience with techniques such as use case studies, data/process flow diagramming, process mapping and detailed business and functional requirements documentation.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders.

What You Need to Know
