National Business Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced sales professional to join our team as an Account Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing the wholesale national retailer's portfolio across all brands and categories.
As an Account Manager, you will work closely with the Sales Manager to achieve sales targets and service level agreements by navigating the administrative and compliance requirements essential for servicing national retailers.
Key responsibilities include identifying opportunities and driving business development, overseeing product and marketing initiatives, managing product range development, analyzing wholesale channel accounts to ensure budgeted sales, profit, and growth targets are met, and building strong and strategic relationships with customers.
Required Skills & Qualifications:- Commercial Acumen: You must possess strong commercial acumen and have extensive experience in sales, preferably in a similar industry or sector.
- Sales Experience: A minimum of 5 years of successful sales experience demonstrated through year-on-year achievement of sales targets.
- National Retailer Experience: Proven experience working with national retailers is essential.
- Travel Requirements: The ability to travel to tradeshows and interstate customers on a regular schedule or as needed.
- Customer Relationships: Strong communication skills both written and verbal, and the ability to build meaningful relationships with customers.
- Business-to-Business Selling: Demonstrated experience in business-to-business selling and servicing.
