Global Business Development Specialist

    As a Global Business Development Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and success for our global clients.

The Role

You will report directly to the Commercial Director and be responsible for managing relationships with key retail partners to achieve mutual growth and success.

Responsibilities include:

  • Establishing and maintaining strong connections with retail partners to deliver exceptional results.
  • Developing joint strategic plans for promotions, forecasting, and in-store execution.
  • Utilizing sell-in and POS data to generate actionable insights that drive category growth.
  • Managing the entire process from ranging decisions to retail sell-through.
  • Providing innovative ideas and recommendations to enhance category management.
  • Collaborating with Product and Demand Planning teams to align market insights with business strategies.
  • Developing and presenting insightful reports supporting financial forecasts and business decisions.

The Ideal Candidate

Candidates will have:

  • Proven experience as a Global Business Development Specialist with a track record of growth and strong retail relationships.
  • Experience managing multiple brands or categories within a premium consumer goods company, with knowledge of the Australian and NZ retail markets.
  • Strong analytical skills, proficient in Excel and PowerBI.
  • Excellent relationship-building and presentation skills to engage stakeholders and build trust.
  • Energy and confidence in managing multiple priorities.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business or Marketing.
